German classes for youth
Our courses offer German learning opportunities for children as young as five, and up to the teenager years. Registration and class information can be found on this page. If you have any questions, please contact us.

vorschule, grundschule and teenager classes
Will be held in person and held at Living Hope Alliance Church, 3800 Green Falls Drive, Regina.
Doors open at 9am, with class starting at 9:15am.
Dismissal is at 11:45am, with pick up no later than 12pm.
The tuition for Vorschule, Grundschule and Teenager classes is as follows:
1 Child = $350
2 Children = $675
3 Children = $925
4 Children = $1,150
Textbooks and workbooks are an additional cost.
german 10 Online Credit class
Will be offered online, Saturdays from 9am to 12pm, September to June.
Tuition fees for German 10 students are $500, including all learning materials.

TEACHER: Cassandra S.
A fun and engaging learning environment suited to our youngest students. Songs, games, crafts and stories interspersed with educational activities make learning German pure child’s play.

TEACHER: Adaeze M.
In this class we work on conveying the language in an action-oriented manner by listening to stories, repeating them, and reading. The students work on reading and pronunciation practice, we sing and read rhymes for rhythmic learning. Of course, we also address German festivals and public holidays.

TEACHER: Syzane Z.
This class is designed for students who are building on the basic foundation of grammar and vocabulary of previous classes. Students at this level are able to read and produce simple sentences, conjugate verbs and have an understanding of the German cases. The class will build on the students’ prior knowledge and further their language acquisition in all areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking.

German 10 is an introduction to the German language and cultures and is designed for students who have little or no knowledge of the language. Students begin with basic vocabulary and structures to communicate about their lives.
German 10 is a Saskatchewan Ministry of Education approved elective language course provided within Saskatchewan’s Core Curriculum. This course is open to any student enrolled in Grades 9-12 in a Saskatchewan school.
This class will be offered online, Saturday mornings, from 9:00am-12:00pm, September to June. Please see our school calendar for dates and holidays.
Upon successful completion of 100 instructional hours, the student will be granted secondary level credits.

German as a Foreign Language Stream
Students learn German as a foreign language based on the “Daf-Rahmenplan” – the official curriculum developed by the Standing Committee of the German Ministers of Culture and Education. It is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
German as a Second Language Stream
Students understand and speak German effortlessly. They have the benefit of living in a bilingual environment or may have lived abroad. German as Second Language learners follow an adapted German elementary school curriculum. This stream works towards a DSD 1 or even DSD 2 completion.
